Admission to the Hospital

If the emergency department physician feels that further care is best provided with a hospital admission, an appropriate inpatient bed will be assigned to you. On occasion an individual goes directly to an operating room, or to a special procedure. If you have a private physician on staff at our facility, you will be given the option to be admitted under his/her care. If that is not the case, you will be admitted to an appropriate physician who can treat your problem.
