Founded in 1924 as the 12-bed Milton Hospital, Centinela Hospital Medical Center has grown to become a 370-bed medical center serving the communities of Inglewood and Los Angeles. La Palma Intercommunity Hospital is a full-service, general acute care hospital with 141 licensed beds. Since May 1972, the hospital has provided acute care services to both Los Angeles and Orange counties.

La Palma Intercommunity Hospital is a major provider of mental health services, family-centered maternity care, wound care and specialty surgical programs, comprehensive medical-surgical services, and full continuum of care for stroke patients. Montclair Hospital Medical Center was originally founded in 1973 by a group of community physicians. In July of 2006, Prime Healthcare Services, Inc. purchased Montclair Hospital Medical Center.

San Dimas Community Hospital is located on the east end of the San Gabriel Valley, one mile off the 210, 57, and 10 freeways, in the city of San Dimas. The hospital’s 13-acre campus consists of the 93-bed general acute care facility and two identical Medical Office Buildings.

San Dimas Community Hospital draws the majority of its patients from its own town as well as the surrounding communities of Glendora, La Verne, Covina, West Covina, Azusa, Walnut, Diamond Bar, Pomona and Claremont. Martin Luther King, Jr. Multi-Service Ambulatory Care Center (MLK-MACC) is part of the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services' Southwest Network, which includes Hubert H. Humphrey and Dollarhide Comprehensive Health Centers and is part of the MetroCare Network. MLK-MACC is comprised of an Urgent Care Center for adults and pediatric patients. It is open from 8:00 am to midnight daily and approximately 70 Outpatient Clinics operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. MLK-MACC serves South Los Angeles County, California.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Multi-Service Ambulatory Care Center began as the result of a community need. The hospital opened its doors on March 27, 1972 as a full-service medical center. As the seventh Department of Health Services hospital and the third Los Angeles County teaching hospital, MLK-MACC brought to fruition the dream of quality healthcare to a determined and dedicated community.
